Pork Steak with Green Beans

  • 4 Carolina Pride™ Pork Blade Steaks, 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 T. Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2 T. Lemon Juice
  • 2 T. Soy Sauce
  • 1 T. Honey
  • 1 (9 oz.) pkg Frozen French-style Green Beans, thawed

Place steaks in plastic bag or shallow baking dish. Combine garlic, onion, lemon juice, soy sauce and honey; mix well. Pour marinade over pork steaks. Tie bag securely or cover tightly and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning once.
Drain pork steaks, reserving marinade. Place steaks on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 4-5 minutes per side. Pour marinade into small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add green beans; cover and cook 5-8 minutes or until beans are tender. Serve green beans with broiled steaks.
